This is a review of 'MoliCare Skin Barrier Cream, Nutriskin Protection Complex, ideal for intimate area and skin stressed by incontinence, 200ml (Barrier Cream)'. This is a moisturising and soothing cream made to use on irritated skin. I like to use this on areas prone to chafing to reduce irritation in the skin and keep the skin from getting itchy. This has simple, non-irritating, moisturising ingredients. It is a cream that is reasonably thick, yet it doesn't take too long to sink to the skin. I find this works well against chafing and irritated areas of skin, I have even used this on my face on an irritated patch of skin. Overall this is a nice product that does what it is supposed to do, and it has a variety of uses.

I got this cream for my mum, who has had problems with incontinence in recent years. She often has sore, red skin on her upper body and this cream has definitely provided some relief. The cream is quite thin and therefore absorbs easily, as well as thankfully not leaving any kind of sticky residue, which Sudocrem does for example. My mum has been using it quite liberally twice per day, so it won't last that long but 200ml is quite a reasonable amount. There is a very mild scent, that is reasonably pleasant and certainly not in any way overpowering. The list on ingredients printed on the tube matches the list of ingredients in the product listing, which is not always the case for things like this. It is recommended on the label to use the cream within six months of opening, similar to toothpaste for example. The cream is made in Italy.
