So the pros are good price, good ingredients and rubs in to avoid a white cast. Can be used in place of a moisturiser. The cons are that you need to work quickly with this product. Once you apply to the skin it has a white cast that can be rubbed in but if you keep on rubbing the product or wait a few mins and go back and re rub it does pill. I therefore do a section of my face at a time. I do find I struggle with my make up on top of this, even if I wait 30mins or an hour to then apply. It tends to make my make up look cakey underneath and nothing seems to fix this issue. Overall not a bad product if you have sensitive skin and don’t wear make up. Would be ideal for a day around the pool sunbathing. Also not had any issues with this stinging my eyes.

It’s very rich and luxurious, don’t put too much on otherwise your face will stick to your pillow! It’s greasy but feels nice, again, don’t over apply. It will leave your skin looking and feeling shiny and greasy but damn it certainly hydrates, I love it! Used sparingly it will last months and it will not block your skin pores at all.

Absoulety devastated with the formula change. Been using the orginal for 5 years and it was perfect. Didn't break my acne prone skin out, worked well after dermarolling / skin peels especially with the SPF. I cannot understand why they would change something that was perfect. The new one is one of the worst spf / moisturisers I've ever used. Broke me out in cystic acne, caused extreme dryness and made my eyes burn and eyelids flake. The moisturiser itself is watery, bitty and sits on top of the skin, leaving a white cast. I just can't believe it. Been looking for a alternative for weeks now to no avail and my skin is still recovering from this! Causing alot of stress! Wish they'd just make the old one available again!

I had high hopes for this due to the good reviews and the fact that I use other Cetaphil products that I love however I found this SPF extremely drying. I have trialled it for a full week and to be fair, it didn’t give me any irritation, it didn’t burn my skin, it didn’t make me break out(acne prone), the slight white cast actually neutralised my redness(this probably only worked as I am fair) but it has made me so unbelievably dry! It was also no good under makeup. I have now stopped using the product and I am trying to rehydrate my face!
