An excellent emollient cream for very dry and sensitive skin. I’ve had a very dry, itchy patch on my shoulder for some time, and as I’m allergic to lanolin and have been a psoriasis sufferer in the past (I have medication now that keeps it at bay), I’m often limited to what products I can use. Aveeno Dermexa is totally lanolin free, so I was happy to test this product. It’s a good thick cream, but a little goes a long way. It absorbs beautifully and because it is unscented, there is less chance of ingredients giving a reaction, plus it won’t clash with any other products you use, eg, perfume, body spray etc., After just two applications I could feel and see a difference in my skin, it was definitely more moisturised and the dry patch was almost gone. I had no reaction at all and the itching was barely noticible. After two weeks of using daily, the dry patch had completely cleared up and the improvement in the condition of my skin was fantastic. I would definitely purchase this myself and use it as part of my daily skincare routine. I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine programme. My review is independent and unbiased, based only on my personal experience of the product.

My skin can get very dry, even getting occasional bouts of intense dryness. Aveeno has always been my personal gold-standard in terms of moisturiser, really helping more than others I've tried. This version of Aveeno is probably the best I've tried. After reading the product description, I had a feeling this moisturiser was basically made for me, and I'm really happy with how it works on my skin. It performs just as described, and I've been very pleased with it overall. I'll definitely be keeping a bottle of this around, though will use it a little more sparringly for when my skin needs it! Overall, very happy!
